Mental Health & Addictions Coordinator – Nunatsiavut
Nunatsiavut (Nain, Hopedale, Makkovik, Postville or Rigolet)
Under the Director of Mental Wellness and Healing, the Mental Health and Addictions Coordinator is responsible for the coordination of and support to regional and community Mental Health and Addictions activities and programming, including those which promote mental wellness and healing, strengthen individuals and families, and engage vulnerable children, youth, adults, and seniors. The position is further involved in development and implementation of innovative programming and policy, maintaining service standards, and overseeing professional and community development.
Cook’s Helper – Hopedale
Under the supervision of the Cook, the Cook’s Helper will be responsible for food preparation in accordance with the Canada’s Food Guide for children ages two to six years attending various Childcare Programs, helping prepare food for special events, as well as cleaning of the kitchen area.
Cook – Nain
Under the supervision of the Team Leader/Daycare Operator/, the Cook will be responsible for food preparation in accordance with Canada’s food guide for children ages 2 to 6 years attending the Daycare Program, inventory of food, preparing food for special events, cleaning of kitchen area and providing relief for the Child Care Workers.
Executive Secretary – Nain
Under the direction of the Secretary to the Nunatsiavut Council, the Executive Secretary is responsible for coordination of all meetings, appointments and the overall activities and administration of the President’s office.
